Interface Lab Week 5: Documentation
August 23, 2020
This week were learned to use Unity’s in app recorder, which is much better than the quicktime screen caps I was doing. The audio is captured properly which is good because my project relies heavily on it.
I had to pare down my ambition for Being Jay Mollica, but the audio / arduino interaction is there. As you walk around the environment replicas of my head will randomly fall from the sky that are saying “Mollica”, the large head in the center of the scene emanates the Brian Eno track “The Fullness of Wind”. The audio diminishes as you move away from the source, so you end up with a range of faint to loud “Mollicas”.
The potentiometer controls the rate at which the heads fall.
